EA Charging For Cheats On XBL
Just when we though EA couldn’t possibly find any further ways of ripping off its customers, they come up with the idea to charge for cheat codes for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. I don’t know what kind of marketing genius came of with the idea, and I certainly don’t know what fool would fall for it and buy the cheat codes, it is nonetheless the final proof of EA’s business strategy.
The prices are:
Unlock golfers: 200 points ($2,50)
Own everything in the pro shop: 300 points ($3,75)
Maxed out player: 200 points ($2,50)
Sunday Tiger: 240 points ($3,00)*
Unlock courses: 200 points ($2,50)
*let’s you use the red shirt Tiger uses during last rounds
If things continue this way, next week EA will be charging you to use of the rumble feature in the Xbox360 pad, and the week after that, for only 250 MS points, they’ll let you use the “A” button. Don’t you love the next-gen gaming experience?

EA! You greedy bastards! I can’t believe this but EA has sunk to an all time low. I can’t believe you have to pay to use cheats. If this is a sign for nextgen games count me out dammit!
What happen to the good’ol days of gaming. U know when U bought a game and not had to worry about if the developers are giving you an unfinished product and decide to patch it up later or charge you extra for things that should already be in the game.

I hope this doesn’t happen to every game. Seems like EA wants to follow after Sony’s Grand Turismo, but really how many people play Tiger Woods games? LoL

“how many people play Tiger Woods games?”
Yeah your right X360 but it’s the principle of it. First they charge U a tutorial in Madden, then they rush a unfinished product to the market, and finally charge you cheats in Tiger Woods. It’s only a matter of time before EA starts to do it with all their games. Before U know unlockables will be finished and you will be force to buy all the extras.

Like Gran Turismo-HD.

I was discussing GT-HD with my cousin who is right into GT4 and he was in complete disbelief that you should have to pay for all of those cars and tracks after buying the game. That’s from a guy who only bought a PS2 for GT4, he refused point black to buy GT-HD if that’s what would happen.

How much proof do we need that EA are a bunch of corporate bloodsuckers? Any time I get the chance to download (STEAL) a game from EA, I do it, just for the pleasure of it.

I don’t do that, it’s not the moral obligations, just that the games are so crappy.
I only did the battle for middle earth rtses, but that’s only because there isnt anything else released lately;(
Where are you supreme commander? I CALL THY!

EA is by far the worst gaming company around … I think that is something just about all of us can agree on no matter if we do like different hardware. Personally I just want to see how they ruin err I mean ‘handle’ the release of Crysis. If they screw that up then for me that will be the final straw and I can say for certain that will be the last EA game I will buy. Hell I wish they didn’t have the game. I am really worried they might try to buy out Epic next … that would really blow.

Boycott!
I hate EA. I also hate people that would actually buy into this shit. Seriously putting all fanbois aside and there consoles, this shit needs stop across the board.
Between EA on xbox and Sony with GT this is not looking good for future gaming.
