EA has confirmed that 30 PlayStation 3 titles are currently in development. They plan on releasing 8-10 games before March 2007, including Fight Night Round 3 and Need For Speed Carbon. Other titles in development include Battlefield: Bad Company, Skate and Medal of Honor Airborne. As one may notice, most of the games are multiplatform titles, in good EA fashion.

1Ports Ports and more Ports … while not necessarily a bad thing when a Behemoth like EA shows that they have little to no creativity it is not a good thing for any console gamer. Again though this par for the course when it comes to EA. Now what would really be impressive for a company the size of EA was if they had announced a division committed to cranking out at least 17-20 unique titles. That would have been newsworthy. This is just expected.

2I agree. Surely someone like EA can afford to set up an indie studio somewhere that produces games other than Need for Speed and Madden games?

4Obviously they value quantity over quality. Look forward to 30 mediocre games.
