Confirmed: WoW Burning Crusade Delayed
Danish site Jubii.dk reports that the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade, has been delayed into to 2007. Their source is from within Vivendi in Denmark, but nothing has been confirmed as of now. According to Jubii, Blizzard will announce the news tomorrow (Tuesday).
Since the beta has just started well over week ago, it’s unsure how much testing Blizzard can get done before the scheduled November release date. I guess we’ll have to see if anything happens tomorrow.
[Update] Blizzard announced to day that WoW: The Bruning Crusade has been delayed to January 2007. They issued a statement, saying

though this may result in me being lynched in the streets, i don’t play WoW. Mostly due to time restraints; not a lack of desire. Just wanted to jump on here (first post) and say that it can only be good news. Blizzards always delays before launchs, and they always do it because they want to polish the game in question, and smooth out any edges. it always works out in our favour. i consider any blizzard delay good news rather than bad.
that’s all i had to say.
