The difficulty level usually is dependent on how I feel ... since I am never going to be a pro gamer there are no set rules I go by. I love cheats and sometimes I use them as well ... but cheats are for when I decide to play a seriously tough game on the hardest (sometimes second hardest as well) setting. Usually I play on normal with no cheats but again it depends on the game, the genre, and my mood. Rarely do I feel that I need or want a real tough challenge from a game ... I have enough of those in real life. However I respect how other gamers game as long as they don't talk down to me or try to get me to play their way.

Well I liked how death was handled ... the game was tense enough for me since I don't like to die at all. Especially on console systems. I think the majority of casual gamers liked the feature. There are ALL the other FPS games that handle death in a more traditional (read FRUSTRATING) way so if it is that important play them ... like you said FarCry which I will agree is better than Prey anyway but sometimes the deaths are really really cheap .. the AI can be too all-knowing ... especially the snipers.

[...] 1 million units sold within 2 months when it’s only available on 2 platforms?? Dayyyyum! It’s no surprise to some people that the game is so good considering that it was in development for 10 years. I guess it’s no big secret that that first title didn’t exactly tie up all the loose ends so it’ll be interesting to see how they continue the story in Prey 2.
Meh ... the game was okay and it had some good moments and some interesting graphics. I did like the mechanic for dealing with dying so you didn't have to go back and restart from a while back. I guess this is good news but hopefully they will use another engine since that one is really showing it's age.
