The long awaited shooter from GSG Game World, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow Of Chernobyl has been delayed numerous times, now scheduled for release in the beginning of 2007. More spectacular screenshots after the jump.

    The problem with a game being delayed for so long is whenever it comes out it will be “outdated”, STALKEr might look great, but I doubt it’s gonna look any better than games released a year or two ago (like HL2)

    Yeah HL2 was pretty dated as well when it came out with the source/steem delays.

    Looks as good as it did 4 years back at e3 except back then it was actually impressive, now its just on par.

    but the gameplay will be a 1000 times better due to ai being non scripted and a non linear map
