PS3 can natively support 1080p because of HDMI which is fully digital. Xbox 360 can only push 1080p through the analog VGA connector. TV&#039;s would need to have the VGA connector, and allow 1080p through it. The normal component cables can&#039;t pass 1080p because TV&#039;s don&#039;t have 1080p input through component.

It&#039;s a work-around that barely works. Definitely not future proof.

And where did you ever see that PS3&#039;s main selling point is 1080p?? I believe articles only mentioned that because they were surprised Xbox didn&#039;t have it in their original spec like PS3 did.</description>
