EB Games and GameStop are from today accepting Halo 3 pre-orders. Pre-order fees for the regular, collector’s, and Legendary editions are set at $5, $10, and $25, respectively. The game doesn’t have an official release date, it’s only known that it will be released in 2007. You’ll now be able to put down money for standard ($59.99), Collector’s Edition ($69.99), and a special Halo 3 Legendary Edition ($99.99).

That’s crazy … not even a solid ship date and yet people are going to start reserving now. Not me … when they say when it will ship for sure is when I will start to get excited and maybe lay down $5.

If there are still pre-orders left…

Pre-ordering before the game is even announced? Damn, you gotta be desparate for Halo 3 if you do that…

What kind of fool would hand over money to a corporation for a product that does not even exist yet (and when it does exist) will not be in short supply anyway? what is the point? There are some really strange/stupid people in this world!

I hate morons that pre-order games. They always fall for the hype. Unless it’s a midnight launch party those are always fun.
