Sony Working On 40 Downloadable Games

fl0w.gifSony’s Phil Harrison says they are currently working with a number of developers on 40 exclusive titles for their e-Distribution Initiative, or EDI, the PS3 equivalent to Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade. Sony will fund and distribute all games, as Harrison says:

“We announced an initiative from a worldwide studios perspective at GDC this year, as a call to action to the development community to encourage them to create games specifically for us, that we would fund, that we would publish, in the online sense of the word, and distribute online.

    Looks pretty pshycadelic, the fl0w stuff. I’d donwload it any time, but I certainly wouldn’t pay for stuff like that.
