The highly anticipated PC shooter Crysis has been delayed to April 2007, EA revealed during an investor conference this week. Originally scheduled for a Q4 2006 release, Crysis was going to be the first major PC title using DirectX 10, resulting in stunning visuals. EA said Crysis would be released in the 12 moths after this fiscal year, making April 2007 the earliest possible release date. Another title has also been delayed to April 2007, EA’s PS3 and Xbox360 action game Army of Two.

I believe I saw this coming … doesn’t matter to me though … I won’t be getting it *sob* … EA is not ever getting another cent of my money … not unless they do a complete 180 on most of their corporate policies and the way they treat gamers. It is a shame really because that was the game (other than UT2K7) that I was most looking forward to on the Vista platform. Oh well there is Alan Wake and UT2K7 to look forward to and then they will start moving more advanced to Vista to take advantage of multi-core (read more than two .. not just dual) processors like the new Intel Kentsfield cpu.

Yeah but EA wont get alot of money for it. Its still a crytek game. The difference from crytek and DICE is that EA bought all of dice stock shares. When u buy at 51 percent u own the company. Also, EA just bought them. That’s why bf2 started to suck same with 2142. Dice was forced to release the game to early, also crytek will take their time on this one.
