bioware.jpgBioWare, developers of the highly anticipated Xbox360 and PC title Mass Effect (video here) will use Ageia’s PhysX technology in their upcoming next-gen game engine “Eclipse”, powering Mass Effect. The deal was announced by Ageia, who’s gaining more and more support from developers, despite rather disappointing sales of their PhysX hardware. BioWare CEO Ray Muzyka sees the deal as a natural step,

“There’s no reason to reinvent the wheel when you have a world-class, easy-to-implement physics solution such as AGEIA PhysX technology. AGEIA PhysX will deliver mind-blowing physics action for games using BioWare’s next-generation game engine.
