Sony Updates Its Consoles

PlayStation 3 will have a patch to download from day 1 of its launch. The patch will install version 1.10, which gives players support for PlayStation Network.
The PSP will later be recieving a firmware update, to version 3.00. This update will also enable PlayStation Network functionality, in addition to allowing players to use “Remote Play,” which will let users access their PS3 using their PSP.
