Gameplay video of Call of Duty 3 for the Wii. It shows how the wiimote will be used in action, and it looks more responsive and better integrated than the latest version of Red Steel.

seems to me like its very difficult to move, aim and shoot, which is basically everything important.

After seeing this version the 360 and PS/3 really stand out. I am seriously beginning to wonder about the long term viability of the Wii and it’s decision not to place ANY emphasis on visual improvements.

Anuban, that’s because you have a serious problem…

All I said is I am beginning to wonder … I don’t think I have a problem .. I think I have an opinion. Perhaps its you who have the serious problem not respecting other people’s opinion without hurling insults.

I don’t see anything about the wii remote being used in action, this has nothing new to show… I want to see both the controller and the screen at the same time. Oh, and believe me, the Wii will be fine for years, if we can get 5 years out of a gamecube, we can definitely get 5 years out of the wii. And the graphics can be better than what we see here, it’s just that they were too lazy to use maximum potential. It’ll take years before the PS3 even comes close to being fully used.

We shall see … I don’t think you can make any comparisons to the last gen wars … the rif between the graphics quality is much larger this time around. I do expect that it will become at the very least a second system in a lot of gamers homes to go with their HD gaming console (whichever they choose) which may actually give the Wii the chance to have more total units in homes … but as a primary system … well that is where I question the long term viability.

So we didn’t get a PC version only to get a sloppy Wiimote wannabe mouse look that doesn’t work? Great…

lionzub, no one said it doesn’t work, and if it bothers you so much, just get a 360 and play COD on that.

How would getting the 360 version help my woes about not having a PC version with mouselook?
My definition of “work” in regards to your definition is entirely different. Yes it functions like it is suppose to, but it doesn’t “work” in the sense of what I would want it to do. Looking at the gameplay video it appears that using the Wiimote is unresponsive, laggy, difficult to adjust to, and so on.
