European Game Developers Federation Founded

Just recently, the European Game Developers Federation has been founded. The EGDF consists of around 500 studios across Europe. The Federation also has an open invitation for all other European studios to join.
Chairman of the association, Fred Hasson, said, “The EGDF members believe Europe needs to respond swiftly to remain in the race, in particular promoting the creation of new intellectual property, updating workforce skills, and backing technological research and development.”
Hopefully the pooling of resources will allow European developers to create innovative games with a minimized risk.
