EA has announced that the upcoming strategy game Command & Conquer 3 :Tiberium Wars is headed to the Xbox360, in addition to the PC release. The Xbox360 version is already in development and will be released in 2007, probably a few months after the PC release. EA promised great multiplayer action on Xbox Live, and downloadable content regularly available on the Marketplace.

I can see it now, EA not only charging for cheats, but a few MS points for the individual units. Want a big army? It’s gonna cost you. Want to feed and power your big army? It gonna cost you even more. I know, I got carried away there, but considering the direction EA is heading at the moment, the nightmare isn’t too far off.

will they have to buy a mouse and keyboard too? i don’t see strategy games like these working successfully on consoles with those controllers.
