Halo 3 Screenshots Revealed

1UP has uploaded a couple of Halo 3 screenshots. Not concept art or any renders, but actual in-game screenshots. 1UP only has a few screenshots to view on their website. The other screenshots you will have to view in the December issue of EGM.

If you ask me, these shots don’t look at all impressive. These are pretty much along the lines of Halo 2 rather than an Xbox360 game. Then again, Halo 3 is far from done, and still doesn’t have an exact release date on it, so hopefully we’ll see better graphics with smoother objects and high-res textures soon.

i agree, the detail looks better than halo 2… which i still play quite frequently. i think it is going to be hard to make any judgements about the game with such little content.

lets face it though, the halo games are great because of the gameplay, and graphics aren’t so much a part of its success. i would like to see bungie really try and take full advantage of the 360’s power and beef up the graphics, but as long as they don’t screw up the gameplay, i’ll be happy.

No kidding, Halo is like a well mixed combo of Metroid and star wars, it’s original and it has universal appeal except possibly gender wise.

Loving it … can’t wait and I know this time we will be the Master Chief the for the entire adventure … if not then count me out. I’m not doing the Halo 2 thing again … no way. And I love the Halo gameplay way more than I like the Gears gameplay … and BU was bashing Halo in favor of Gears .. yeah big surprise from an Unreal fan site. It was totally classless and I was the ONLY one trying to stick up for Halo and then they booted me … losers.

People and their opinions … wow can you feel the hatred? Maybe you want to go join Beyond Unreal.com … they seem to share your sentiments. I don’t think you’ll find much support here for that kind of infantile talk. Bye Bye.

I’m not the one denying Halo 3 … read more carefully. I was addressing Arthuad who hates Halo. Please don’t misread my posts … I was the Project Leader for the HaloUT Mod for UT2K4 and was the leader of the HaloUT community. Read my other posts and you’ll see how excited I am about Halo 3.
