Limited Wii Online Features

Nintendo has published a press release stating that not all of the Wii Channel features will be available from day one.

Only the Shop Channel will be active, and later the rest of the channels will be added, such as the Forecast Channel on December 20th, and the News Channel on January 27th.

   NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh well, News and Forecast channels are kind of useless… It’ll be nice to have stuff to mess around with long after you buy the system, I hope they end up with channels like RSS readers and maybe even a special youtube thing.

   On the other hand, who is really gonna miss those channels in the first couple of months? I dont care about the weather, because I’m gonna be indoor and play Twilight Princess anyway
