PS3 Linux Now Available

fedora_logo1.gifSony had previously said that Linux would be compatible with the PS3. Now, they have released a bootloader and instructions on how to install Fedora Core 5, a popular Linux distribution.

The installation DVD takes about 2 hours to install. Most hardware is supported except for graphics accelerator support This is a full-fledged supported operating system, possibly an answer to Microsoft’s media centers. You can download it here.
