Never put all your trust in Wiki since anyone can add things to it … that is just one place to check then you need to verify the info against a more reliable and secure database. Zac … I am close to meeting my goal.

the 360 has sold 44 million???? … naw man … I don’t think so … someone obviously hacked that site and put in 360 fanboy fantasy numbers. 44 million … I don’t even know what to say to that.

While I do think that the current positions of the the consoles are correct, the numbers are not. Here’s what i found on wikipedia.org:
1st: X-Box 360 w/ 44 million units sold.
2nd: Nintendo Wii w/ 1 million units sold.
3rd: Playstation 3 w/ 556,400 units sold

All the numbers combine total sales worldwide. Again I am unsure if this is totally accurate, but this is the 1 I am currently going by.

I think that they calculated the average system sold per minute or something and set it to that.

Wii has already 550,000 units sold, in US alone. They’ll reach 2-3 million this year worldwide, impositive about that.
