[gv data="http://www.youtube.com/v/RmSYmhWIooI" width="450" height="350"][/gv] Capcom’s Devil May Cry 4 is the second sequel in the Devil May Cry series (Devil May Cry 3 was a prequel). From what is shown, Devil May Cry 4 will look to have even more action than the other games, with stunning graphics, and the catch-phrases that make Devil May Cry stand out from the rest (”Slam Dunk!”). It didn’t hurt that whoever was playing the game looked like a master at it already. The game is currently a PS3 exclusive.

1Just out of curiousity who is really looking forward to this … and also do people think this will be better than GoW 2 even though GoW 2 is only a PS2 title? I remember how much I loved GoW and didn’t care for DMC III all that much … it didn’t help that it was hard as hell even on the easiest difficulty while I beat GoW on Hard (not God mode though) and did all the challenges to unlock all the costumes.
That is what I will miss most about my boycott of Sony … no more Kratos … and Damn I loved Kratos more than any other gaming personality I have ever come across (he’s up their with the Hulk for me). Personally I think once GoW 3 comes out there just won’t be any game that will match it … ever. Kratos is absolutely awe-inspiring and the story is fantastic. Man I love a good battle among Greek Gods.

2isn’t this game exactly the same as the others, and the fighting is sooo repetitive…and theres no blood, you can’t have a game without blood, its basic sense.

3That’s why GoW was the best and most exhilirating game I have ever played … I played through the whole game (yes including having to get past the dreaded Chaos Blades) 8 times … maybe more actually because I did play through at least once with each of the Costumes … I even got 1900 hit points using the Cow costumes unlimited magic ability and the Rage of Posiedon power. As far as I know that is something no one else has done. I could have gotten 2000 but I hestitated for just a minute and it costs me.

4Looks kool. A bit repetative though. A few of the moves remind me of Smash Bros.

6I love the DMC series. the graphics have always been pretty and the gameplay has never been short of F’N awsome! but i can’t really see the game getting better just because it’s coming out on the PS3. I guess even the things you love to do can get repetitious and appear tedious at times. i see that happening with DMC on the ps3. Still, i hope im wrong.
