Since its launch in March 2005, the Nintendo DS has sold over 7 million units in Europe, with six games selling over a million copies, including New Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, and Mario Kart DS. The top selling title is the same as in Japan and the US, Brain Training, selling over 5 million copies worldwide. Perhaps the most interesting statistic is that 44% of DS owners are women, an impressive number for any videogame company.
