Turtle Rock Studios, the team behind Counter-Strike Condition Zero, have announced a new co-op based action game called Left 4 Dead. The game will be powered by the newest version of Valve’s Source engine, and Turtle Rock’s own AI technology. While no further information about the game was revealed, Valve’s Gabe Newell had the usual press comments, hyping up an upcoming product:

“By leveraging its industry-leading AI technology and years of Counter-Strike development experience, Turtle Rock is building upon the elements that make Counter-Strike successful and applying them to Left 4 Dead.” adding: “What Counter-Strike did for multiplayer action games, Left 4 Dead will do for co-op games.”
