Xbox360 Hacked
November 21st, 2006 by Darren Stevens in News
A team of hackers (or crackers) claim to have successfully hacked the copy-protection on the Xbox360 console. The hackers, calling themselves Team Pi Coder, managed to extract raw data from 13 games, and posted them on a Dutch hacking site. The raw data can’t be used to play games, yet, but is meant to encourage other coders, hackers and crackers to try and find out how to make the games work.
Microsoft responded to this by saying there have been several improvements to the Xbox360 copy-protection, and that only Microsoft certified programs can run on the Xbox360.
