In an effort to gain more support from PC games developers, Ageia has released its software and hardware physics SDK for free. The new End User License Agreement is for both non-commercial and commercial games, giving developers a chance to incorporate the use of Physics hardware (Ageia’s PhysX card) into their games. This is a good move by Ageia, and should result in better and more interesting physics in upcoming PC games, even if it’s only software powered.
