B0007WHAAE.01-A1J7WSBJHTGUFA._SCMZZZZZZZ_.jpgWhen the Wii launches in Australia on December 7, the console will not include component cables for 480p, nor will they be selling the same day as the Wii launches. The console will have the standard AV cables packed in, but the component cables will be selling “just a few days after the Wii launch,” according to Vispi Bhopti, an Australian PR for Nintendo.

The price of the cables will be AU$49.95. It has also been noted that the cables will not be available for purchase over the Internet, but only available in stores. It is unsure what “a few days,” exactly is, though it is assured that it will be coming very soon after the Wii launch.
