Lost Planet Multiplayer Demo Released
November 23rd, 2006 by Steve Reddish in News
The demo for Lost Planet: Extereme Condition has been released on the UK Xbox Live Marketplace today. Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is being developed by Capcom, with Keiji Infuane (famous for creating the Onimusha and Mega Man series) the creative force behind the game. The North America multiplayer demo is expected to hit the US Marketpace tomorrow.
Lost Planet is set in a snowy, frigidly cold future planet, where the main character, Wayne, goes on a quest for the Green Eye. The Green Eye is an item in the game that involves how humans can exist on the planet. Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is an Xbox 360 exclusive and is scheduled for release on January 12, 2007. Watch a multiplayer video of the game after the jump.

I really can’t wait for this game … it is going to BLOW Gears away! It is kind of difficult since you always have to keep killing things to stay alive and feed your thermal suit energy but damn the first demo was just so much fun and it actually looked more complete than most shipping titles. This game is going to kick ass. If it doesn’t receive some good scores I will be positively shocked. It looks better that Gears in many places and the gameplay and story and enemies are more interesting imo.

that looks nice, the only thing i don’t like is the lack of sound, the bullets all sound the same, all the explosions sound the same.

Ahhh … I didn’t notice that … but I am positive that will be addressed before they ship the game in late January.
