November 23rd, 2006 Posted in Business, Gear by Colin Newcomer

Nintendo MP3 PlayerNintendo Europe has just confirmed today that the aptly named Nintendo MP3 Player is indeed real and will be released on December 8th in Europe. The player is very small, running off an SD card and using the DS for controls and power. Nintendo has also announced, for those who don’t like headphones, that sound can be rerouted through the DS’ speakers. While the quality may not be great, its still a nice feature.

As it looks now, it appears the MP3 player will cost around €30 and will not include an SD card.
