Today, a group of thieves in Staffordshire hijacked a lorry owned by Hellman Worldwide Logistics which contained a shipment of Xbox360s valued at around £750,000. This robbery comes on the tails of a previous robbery at a depot owned by the same company in which £260,000 of Xbox360s were stolen.
The thieves hijacked the lorry by telling the driver someone was caught under the wheel. When the driver pulled over, the thieves pulled him out, beat him, left him on the side of the road, and drove off with the truck.
Peter Stevens, spokesman for the Staffordshire Police, released a statement asking for any help possible from witnesses,
“We are appealing for information from anyone who is offered these games in suspicious circumstances, such as in a pub, at a car boot sale or off the back of a lorry.

2The USA isn’t the only game crazed place in the world it would appear. Still I am surprised this type of behavior is going on outside America. Shocking. And for 360s at that. Wow.
