Virtual Console Updates

According to the Wii Shop Channel’s Q & A section on the Wii console, software developers can update already released Virtual Console games free of charge.
The “Update” button indicates there are enhancements for the game. If you have already downloaded the game, you may select “Update” to download the enhancements free of charge. Please note, downloading the update may impact saved game data.
Nintendo did talk about enhancements to these Virtual Console games, but they did not release how exactly these games will be upgraded. This could mean anything, from multiplayer, to enhanced graphics. Let’s hope that this means we can actually play a few of these titles over the Wii’s online system.
