Wii Sims Trailer

Yesterday, we showed you a brand new Sims game coming for the Wii, which featured very cute and colorful Mii looking type characters, and pretty “childish” looking screenshots. Well, here’s a trailer for The Sims Wii, where you can plainly see that this is indeed and very cute game. This actually looks like it’s a human version of Animal Crossing. Thanks to EA for furthering the stereotype of Nintendo consoles being made for kiddies.

After much more thought I don’t think I’ll be getting a Wii anytime soon afterall. Pity I was really hoping this would be a great adult toy to have. Maybe in a year or so it will be better overall. I’ll look into it then.

when are people going to get bored of the sims, its the same game over and over again. and those graphics are magnificent, almost on par with the ds. i think the companies developing on the wii are being very lazy with it, the games look bad and the scrolling technique used for fps is crap, they could have at least adopted some kind of point and shoot thing and use an analog stick to scroll across.

No kidding. Nintendo says the Wii isn’t about graphics and all of a sudden developers are like “Well that’s a relief” and go and delete all their textures.

Only by 20% if the ratio was more like 95% of them were women then maybe, but only appeasing 60% of the crowd will have devastating affects.
