Second Life Gets Its First Millionare

Anshe ChungAilin Graef, also known as Anshe Chung is an avid player of the online game Second Life. In the game, Graef works as a real estate developer. Starting with 10 Linden Dollars, the games currency, Graef has now gathered an impressive 1 million Linden Dollars, or $3,636.36 US dollars, making her Second Life’s first millionaire.

Graef’s accomplishment will only serve to bring more media attention to the already exploding game. Second Life has been featured a lot in the news lately, as real life record labels have taken to staging virtual concerts within the game, and companies like IBM use the game to promote teamwork among employees.

    actually, i heard it’s pretend money that can actually be converted into US greenbacks. I dunno how it works. But it seems like this online game is snatching up gamers by the hordes.
