Bela Molnar, who is MD of HiFi Entertainment, the company offering EMI content via its online store, hopes the the new deal will spark interest in the PSP despite its lagging sales.

Molnar went on to say,

“We knew that the PSP market is huge, but it needed a different platform to provide content to users.”

The entire music library of EMI Music UK will be available for download direct to memory stick at psp-playlist.com. The songs will be priced between GBP 1.89 and GBP 2.19.
