How you really fix it is to either CD stream right before the game gets done loading, and walk through the left part of the wall then you can put the disc back in and warp to ANY location EXCEPT death mountain. DO NOT WARP TO DEATH MOUNTAIN. You WILL screw up your save-game. Be warned, you will have to save the game before you keep playing, as you can’t play like that forever… because the next time you try to load, it willfreeze up and you’ll be back in the room with the cannon. Another note, try to save during the day…

i know how to fix this
ok first thing u do is take the disk and break it in half this solves the problem of not being able to leave that room…. but now the game wont play

At about 1:47/ 1:48 into that video, while Link is running, you see the ‘A’ button icon pop up at the bottom of the screen and it says “speak”. So apparently that is where the guy is standing. I caught this the first time I watched the video.

Yeah, I would try and see if I could try and talk to the guy where he is standing, even if he “isn’t” there. You might be able to just press A near where he should be, or just not save in that stupid room.

“The guy’s model doesn’t load, but he is in the room between the cannon and the stairs. Try to warp out by press UP on the D-PAD when near the CANNON to trigger Midna wanting to warp the cannon, but the guy is present.

WALK BACK to the guy’s spot and press A. He will say he should leave so you can do your thing.

Go back to the Cannon, and WARP it to Lake Hylia.”
