A man, who waited 36 hours to get his PlayStation 3 and was shot twice after numerous beatings, has said that he would do it all again. The man was shot in his right arm as well as the chest and was still determined not to give up his money to two armed, teenage assailants. The man had also paid some friends $75 to wait with him to buy consoles, so he could later sell them on at a profit.
They approached two kids first, and they got 75 cents out of them, and I was the third person they came to. And I wasn’t giving it up for anything,

1Well then this guy really doesn’t understand the gift of life and how fragile it is. I have ZERO sympathy for him. When someone is going to end your life potentially how can you put a price on it. I know my life is Priceless so if I had a million dollars with me and the dude said give it up I would have said here you go. I can always get money. Once dead I CANNOT walk among the living and enjoy the beauty of a simple sunset or sitting on the Cali Coast watching the waves roll in off the Pacific Ocean. But whatever … this is why some people die senseless deaths.

4OK.. When your life comes second to a game console you obviously don’t have a life.

5it’s not even that much money when you think about the profit people are realistically making on ebay, and he’d actually die for that? I still feel bad for this guy, but c’mon, he shouldn’t speak out stupid stuff like this. Now when people ask me if I heard about the PS3 shooting(s), I can say that the guy didn’t care, he’d do it all over again… seriously…

7Weird guy.
He would have gotten a ps3 anyway, just wait a few weeks for more shipments, or he could have bought one on ebay.
Too bad they didn’t shoot him in the hands…

9They were probably doing it as a media ploy … legally they were not bound to do that. But it makes them look good and will increase their sales … at least I am certain that is how they view it.

10What a fucking moron! This guy is a loser and needs to really experience life. Does he have a girlfriend, friends, family that cares about him? This makes the saying “video games are my life” to the next level.

11That dude is hardcore! He goes on to buy the PS3 after he gets shot twice: hilarious!
Seriously, though, caving into every criminal’s demands just helps and encourages them, so I commend him for putting a stop to that ridiculous robbery, although the object of contention is somewhat odd.

What???? Are you kidding me … you are unarmed with $2500 and a guy with gun says give it here or I’ll shoot and you would actually consider resisting when he might blow your head off? Wow … some people really don’t get the value of life, but hey it’s your life so if you want to throw it away (or even risk throwing it away) over some material crap (and a couple of lousy thousand dollars at that?) go right ahead. Unbelievable.

13I find it unbelievable that a guy with a gun can rob an entire line of people, consecutively, of thousands and thousands of dollars in cash. The only reason something this stupid actually happened is because they knew nobody would be brave enough to defend their rights, an unfortunate belief that this guy has at least somewhat dispelled. If they had expected resistance from even a few people, I doubt they would have tried.
The point is, letting them get away with it without a hitch would have set a VERY bad precedent.

14I have nothing bad to say against those other intelligent people who realized that their life could be in jeaporady. You want to play hero with someone who has a loaded gun fine you do that but don’t expect other people to risk their lives (which would affect their kids, families and friends) over some money. As I said before this is how many senseless deaths occur. Someone wants to play hero against hot lead … maybe people just don’t get what a gun and death really are because they are so desensitized from playing FPS and watching movies. But make no mistake about it … GUNS Kill when in the hand of maniacs and desperate people.
