Gran Turismo
developer Polyphony Digital posted a rather disappointing news on its website, Gran Turismo HD for the PlayStation 3 is cancelled. It was a port of Gran Turismo 4 to the PS3, featuring 1080p graphics, but not much more. There were rumors of the game shipping without any content, where gamers would have to purchase the cars and tracks separately.

The developer will no solely focus on Gran Turismo 5 for the PS3, while the GT HD content that produced so far will be given away for free as a download on December 24 in Japan. There is no information on a worldwide release.

  1. STD Says:

Good! A game like this shouldn’t even be considered being released.

  2. Monarky Says:

STD? I think you’ve been having too much unprotected sex and the deseases have gone to your head!

Besides this writer has ignored the fact that this was announced in August! Now Polyphony has announced that Gran Turismo HD is to be released for free download and was just a showcase port of GT-4. The real GT-5 is being worked on and you can expect it to absolutely bury the competition. Xbot fans will be crying big time!
