ps3-definitiva.jpgAccording to research published this week, Sony’s sales of the PS3 were much weaker in the first full week compared to the first two days in Japan, due to short supply. Between November 13 and November 19, 43,378 consoles were sold in Japan, compared to 88,400 sold in the first two days. The company who published these results are also the company responsible for Famitsu gaming magazine.

Another information supplier, Media Create, estimated sales in the first full week to be around 42,099 consoles, they dropped to 32,622 units in the week from November 20 to 27. Media Create estimated the amount of units sold on the opening weekend was 81,693 units.
