A PS3 Sold Every Six Seconds On eBay

Terapeak Marketplace Research, a company that researches all items on eBay, has said that on November 18th, one PS3 was sold every six seconds on eBay for over double the retail amount. The average price that a PS3 went for on eBay during November 18th was $1,243; with the retail version being $600.
Terapeak has also said that between November 16th and 22nd,35,521 PS3s were sold, with an average price being $1,276. However, some sellers on eBay were left with a non-paying auction winner. Of the 35,521 PS3s sold during the 16th-22nd, only 28,546 sellers were actually given the money from the winner. That means 6,975 sellers did not receive anything during that time.
