wiijapan.jpgAll 400.000 Wii units were sold out in Japan in a matter of hours. The console launched earlier this morning where thousands of Japanese gamers waited in line across the country. Nintendo has promised Japan another 600.000 units this year, and an additional million units before the end of March 2007. The Wii sells at 25,000 Yen in Japan, around $217 (no Wii Sports included). Today’s sales in Japan coupled with over 600.000 units sold in North America bring the Wii numbers over one million consoles sold, compared to 350,000 PlayStation 3 units.
