EA Wants A Cheaper PSP
December 3rd, 2006 by Kevin Cortez in Business
EA boss Larry Probst told Newsweek magazine that he thinks Sony should slash the price of the PSP, and introduce a brand new smaller model so that the handheld could boost its sales, much like Nintendo did with the DS Lite. He said,
“I think what moves the needle is a new form factor that’s smaller than the existing unit, at a lower price, and hopefully that price is $100 or lower. I think the price point needs to be lower, and I think you’re going to see that next year, along with a different form factor.”
He added that it “would not be hugely surprising” if Sony would cut the PSP’s price down to $149 and offer a “a more fully-featured upscale unit that retails at $249 or $299.” Currently Sony sells the PSP at $199 and $249, while Nintendo sells the DS Lite at $129.

Let me think about this:
EA says sony should slash the prices on the item we refuse to make original games for and we went public about announcing it.
Isnt that saying…
“Please cut the price so we can rape more users with bad ports”?
Hey EA everyone knows if the games are up to par the console will sell regardless,
your games suck pretty much or already owned by users with other consoles.
Why not try to make the “Halo” for the psp?
I hate asses…
I love my psp..
