Sony Talks PS3 Upgrades, PS4 Release Time

In an interview with Smarthouse.com.au, Paul Holman, the Vice President of Technology for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, said that the PS3 will feature a number of firmware upgrades in its lifespan. These upgrades will make the PS3 more of a “media-center” than it currently is, and could allow third party hardware and accessories, such as controllers, to be used on the PS3.
Holman also mentioned to Smarthouse that in the future, Sony wants to have a keyboard and mouse for the ps3 for ease of use with the built-in browser that the PS3 has. Holman claims that the change in management inside Sony does not mean a PS4 won’t be coming, as rumored earlier. He expects a PS4 to be released, but not until after 2010 (shocking news, I know.)

yeah that was a guess there is no way it will be out by 2010 that would be a waste of money that could be made on the Ps3 , they put so much hard work in it and for it to be great it needs to out last the other consoles I say it will have a 8 to 9 year life pluss the Ps2 is still doin well its 6 years and still goin strong
