The Wii launched and sold out in Japan last week, Famitsu has the details. Apparently 370,000 consoles were sold (previous estimate was 400,000), and a total of 631,500 software titles were sold, giving Wii a software ratio of 1.8 per console. Among the best sellers were Wii Sports (176,000), Wii Play (171,000), and Zelda Twilight Princess (145,000).

Three of the top four games were party games, Wii Play was bundled with an additional controller, while another party game, WarioWare Smooth Moves sold just over 63,000 copies and took the 4th spot. Red Steel was one of the disappointments, only 9,300 copies were sold.

In the US, the Wii sold 600,000 units, while Zelda Twilight Princess was by far the best selling game, over 450,000 copies were sold.
