Anuban, prepare to be out argued. Ryan is right, ease of use, effecient perfomance, lack of viruses, many more out of the box applications, and a fifth of the cost-add in Time Machine to boot- OS X Leopard is completely taking away the thunder from Vista. Oh and the reason that Windows experts do better is because there are more problems with Windows. he is also right in the fact that Apple is continually growing much, much more than Microsoft, and that's the whole company Xbox 360 and Zune too.

Okay Ryan I won't argue with you ... but I would suggest you do some research and compare the real world numbers ... especially in corporate America where they basically have stopped trying ... other than in niche arenas like Graphic houses. Wait until Vista ... they'll fall behind again just like they did with XP. But like I said I respect your right to your opinion no matter how strongly I may disagree with it. But at least we agree that getting into gaming for then would not be in their best interest.

Let me ask you this ... who do you think has a better chance of landing a job in the real world. A Mac OS expert or a Windows NT/2000/Vista expert? To me they have become somewhat like Radioshack ... it's their gadgets that are making them money and whose processor powers their machines ... it sure isn't propietary anymore ... they woke up and realized they needed to partner with someone.

Anuban: Apple is doing fine and is continually gaining marketshare with the desktop computer, I personally agree that they should stay away from gaming and focus on doing what they do better, everything else! Seriously, the've got ease of use and everything with their awesome OS X and media applications.

Oh they must be kidding ... they lost the war for the desktop ... they had switch over to working with Intel for their CPUs ... then they got big again because of an electronic gadget. Now they think they can make a gaming console of some sort. Wow ... someone needs to have a real talk with the board and they need a BIG reality check. Simply astonishing ... and suicidal on their part. If I was an investor and I saw this happening I'd pull out all my money.
