“Proof” That Violent Games Make Kids Violent

A research conducted at the Indiana University School of Medicine is claiming that violent video games do, in fact, make kids more “violent”. The study shows increases in emotional arousal, and a decrease of attention, self-control, and inhibition. The two games used in the research were Need for Speed Underground and Medal of Honor: Frontline.

The problem with “scientific reasearch” in certian enviornments is that they can show what ever the financer wants by putting the results in a different aspect.
Now for years faster reflexes, better hand eye and improved multitasking (due to the need to track multiple targets while retrieving ammo, and turning the cranks to open doors, ha!) have been the constant result but now that the tests are financed by the “anti gaming society” the results only show increased violence!
Its like the tobacco companies financing reports that smoking isnt addictive or linked to cancer…

thats true, but the thing they don’t realise is that people tend to get angry when they play harder-to-play-games. i got so pissed when playing super monkey ball, its not violent. i don’t get pissed at playing halo at any difficulty except legendary. there is never one answer, but they don’t care.

i swear theyre the same ppl that watch violent movies im telling u!My moms di ckhead bf i known for 9 years said i played sick games,like bf2 or css?where he watches nothing but action.Same with my neighbor he saays the samething, the only thing agree with.Like in quake 4 how u see guts and his eyes gutted out.I agree to young but a 13 and up can handle these games.I swear ppl use crap in court so they can use the system and get out of trouble.

Violent kids are the result of poor parenting, not because of what the games do to them.

This is píssing me off, i have these people like Hillery saying i am to stupid to tell the difference between a video game and real life…games dident make me violent i made my self violent!

They are paying for my retirement.
