12312355.JPGNintendo just released the sales numbers for the European launch, and apparently they sold 375,000 consoles in just two days across Europe, making it the fastest selling home console in history. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was the best selling software title, with over 240,000 copies sold, followed by Wii Play with 150,000 copies sold. The Wii has already sold 600,000 units in North America, and over 400,000 units in Japan. Nintendo also mentioned that the DS sold over half a million units in Europe last week as well.

nintendo are doing awfully well this time round, lets hope the games that come out later are better than what they brang out on the gamecube. however i haven’t found many good games for my DS, a lot just seem to be ports of older games.

I can’t wait until I get mine … my patience is starting to wear thin; however, I do want to make sure mine is one with the new strap. So I wait … patiently.

Anuban: You can just make your own improved wrist strap. It’ll not be as nice, but I dont think it matters

We’ll see but I would rather not go through the trouble if a product is already available. But thanks for the info.

  5. Kaiser Soze Says:

But when will the improved strap be available?

By the first of the year I am sure … I can wait until the end of January since I will be in school anyway and very busy reaclamating myself to a University environment.
