Today marks the release of the first patch for the popular game, Medieval II: Total War. The patch fixes a plethora of problems gamers have complained about, such as armies that don’t engage or get bugged on gates to name a few. The patch also adds an unpacker tool for the game’s large mod community.

Creative Assembly, the game’s developers, have also released that they plan to have a second update ready for February, 2007.
