Square Enix has released the first trailer of Dragon Quest IX, a highly anticipated RPG for the Nintendo DS. The game sports stunning visuals (for a DS game), and an outstanding RPG game engine.

Shame on all those developers who only makes 8 bit graphic games on the DS. No, I didn’t mean that. But I do think that the DS needs more titles with graphics like this. But it’s just cheaper to make a puzzle game I expect… After all, the DS can more or less handle N64 games, so why dont make games with the same depth, gameplay and graphics?
