Gears Of War Christmas Update Is Fake

You may have read the recent post about a Gears of War update coming around Christmas. Unfortunately, new concrete evidence tells us that the alleged update is false and is not in the planning. Mark Rein, Vice President of Epic Games, posted the following on the official Gears of War forum:
“Folks,
This is a hoax.
We’ve already stated that we are working on releasing an update soon but we don’t know the exact date of the release yet because it has not passed certification yet.
