Originally, it was planned that four Resident Evil films, based on Capcom’s thriller, would be released. While comingsoon.net is reporting that the third movie, Resident Evil: Extinction, is going to be the last, the movie studios have reportedly said they started shooting the fourth one.
The first two films were not so great in the review departments, but still received some attention from hardcore gamers. Game to movie films don’t usually do great in the box office anyways, but Resident Evil has been the exception. Many people are looking forward to the next film.

1if there was supposed to be 4, i would assume they would try and make it like the game so it would actually be good. no point even seeing the third, it will suck most definetly.

2The second movie was pure garbage. The first one was actually decent but still far from a good flick.

3I agree the first R. E was ok , I did like how the zombies were lol they ran at you instead of walkin slow takin an hour to get to you. Thats were it ends though other than that I didnt like how they did it I mean R.E has one of the best storylines ever with the T-virus they should have stuck with the game because the game did it best it grabs you and puts you in the storyline and makes you thirst for more info about the T-virus

5Can’t wait to see Extinction! I love the RE movies and franchise. I know they aren’t exactly Academy Award potentiall but I like them for what they are. Atleast the director (Paul W. Anderson I think) isn’t as bad as Uwe Boll. The fourth movie hopefully would be like RE4 and I wish good luck to Paul Anderson for making the Castlevania movie (he’s gonna need it especially since it will be compared to the super good Van Helsing).
