I mean if you are going to void your warranty might as well go for the best thing there is. My other controller has a tan one which feels equally as good and I didn't have to worry about voiding my warranty. I love my 360 with its Cobalt Nexus complete skin set and wouldn't think about doing anything to that one. Now if I do get another one maybe I will tinker with it since I have this cool XCM black case with Blue LEDs and these LED fans that are just sitting in the corner in the packaging collecting dust.
