Capcom’s newest entry in the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil 5, has not been in the news much lately. However, Japanese Famitsu magazine has some information about the game, straight from the producer Jun Takeuchi. Most surprisingly, it was revealed that the game will “probably be released in 2008″ (on Xbox 360 and PS3). The developer is aiming at an impressive 60fps, in order to get very fluent graphics. They are also concentrating on realistic polygon models, where even the hair strands are individually detailed. So far, the only information besides that is the real-time teaser trailer video.

1i hope this will be good and be very scary, i think the newest resident evil haven’t concentrated as much on the scary part, most of it was on weapons and such. for me the scariest one was the original, although i played the gamecube version.
