We previously reported that the XFPS Keyboard/Mouse Combo is ready undergoing testing, and now we can see it in action. In the video we see Call of Duty 3 in action, and it’s certainly looks promising, despite the rather bad video quality. Two more after the break.

I guess if you play your 360 like that on a small LCD screen at your desk like it was a high end PC then this makes a tiny bit of sense. But c’mon if you play with your 360 the way it is really meant to be enjoyed … in media room with a Big Screen HDTV then this is just plain ridiculous. Learn how to work console controllers people … if Xena (and the PMS clan) and the Frag dolls can do it I know you whiny azz dudes can.

I can imagine that with a wireless keyboard and mouse, playing from my sofa. FPS games are geat with K/M, but i dunno about 3rd person shooters. I feel quite comfortable playing GRAW and Gears using the controller.

Of course with strategy games it’s totally different, hopefully MS will release an official wireless K/M for the 360.

Again once you see how well they have implemented the controls for the upcoming Halo RTS and even ones like Supreme commander people will be saying that they really don’t need it … me I still say just get used to the console controllers if you are a console player … if you want a K+M setup then get a PC. Of course that is just my opinion. I thought the control scheme for LOTR BFME on the 360 was done quite well … if only the game didn’t have such horrible frame rate issues I might have actually kept it instead of trading it in.
